Centerpiece cloths add special elegance to any table, whether used alone or placed on top of a larger tablecloth. Choose from 80x80 cm, 90x90 cm, 100x100 cm, or 110x110 cm. The size of a centerpiece cloth depends on the size of your table or the base tablecloth. Ideally, the cloth should overhang the edge of the table by about 10–15 cm. A centerpiece cloth, also known as an overlay napkin or napperon, not only decorates but also protects both the table and the main tablecloth.
How Do I Care for Square Centerpiece Cloths?
Our white centerpiece cloths made from pure full-twist cotton are especially easy to maintain. They are boil-proof and can even be treated with chlorine for tough
stains.
After washing, simply pull them into shape, dry them on a line, and ideally have them ironed or mangled. Unlike large tablecloths, smaller centerpiece cloths (80x80cm up to 110x110cm) can easily be ironed by hand, saving you time. They are always quickly ready for use again.
What Are Centerpiece Cloths? What Makes Them Special?
- Placement: A centerpiece cloth is a smaller tablecloth placed in the middle of a larger, usually plain base cloth.

How Should Centerpiece Cloths Be Laid Out?

Overlay napkins and napperons are also popular bases for special decorations – leaving endless room for creativity.

The square centerpiece cloth Jatta in size 85x85 cm combines simple elegance with highly practical properties: it is stain-resistant (Lotus Effect), shape-retaining, wrinkle-resistant, and practically wrinkle-free.
After washing, the Jatta centerpiece cloth is best hung to dry and is quickly ready for use again.
A special stain protection feature makes this cloth especially practical: liquids spilled on the table can usually be wiped away easily, as the polyester fabric absorbs very little moisture. Liquids and stains simply bead off the surface.
The centerpiece cloth is finely hemmed all around and should be washed in the machine at 40°C using a gentle detergent. Its clean white color allows the Jatta cloth to coordinate effortlessly with any colored table décor.
